What We Look For • Pre-Sales Engineering Leadership: Proven track record of building, coaching, and scaling technical pre-sales or solutions architecture teams within a hyper-growth SaaS, Cloud, or Enterprise Data/AI ecosystem. • Deep Domain Expertise: Background as a practitioner or technical consultant in at least one core technical domain. • Consumption & Commercial Acumen: Hands-on understanding of consumption-driven SaaS business models, technical pipeline management, and strategic deal-qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC). • Architectural Authority: Ability to review, challenge, and influence complex multi-cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) to earn the immediate trust of customer engineering teams and internal product leaders. • Executive Presence: Strong communication, whiteboarding, and storytelling skills; adept at translating complex distributed systems concepts into clear executive business drivers. • Regional Language Capabilities: Professional fluency in English is required. Fluency in one or more Eastern European languages (e.g., Polish (preferred), Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, or Czech) is strongly preferred. About Databricks Databricks is the Data and AI company.
