What you should have • A portfolio demonstrating expressive, high-craft illustration and graphic design work across a range of styles, ideally including fast-turnaround or social and content-driven work. • 2+ years of design or production experience at an in-house creative team, social or content studio, or agency, ideally in tech, gaming, or entertainment. • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a strong eye for composition, color, typography, and visual hierarchy. • Comfort working at speed without sacrificing craft, with the ability to turn around polished creative within hours or a single day when needed. • Experience working within brand guidelines to produce work that feels native to an established visual identity. • Comfort presenting creative concepts and articulating design decisions to cross-functional partners. • Ability to take feedback, iterate, and deliver production-ready assets that meet both creative and technical requirements. Bonus Points • Animation or motion design skills, and an understanding of how static illustration and design assets translate into motion. • Proficiency in Figma. • A strong instinct for social content, with an understanding of meme and gaming culture and how Discord can show up authentically in online conversations.
