Product Engineer (PM)

Location: Fully Remote Compensation: $23.08 to $34.62 USD/hour Benefits: 15 days PTO. Christmas Day and New Year's Day paid off. Fair warning: the pace is intense and the ambiguity is real. But you'll feel yourself growing every single week, even the rough ones, and you'll be doing it next to people who actually celebrate your wins and have your back. We're the all-in-one agentic marketing platform. AI-native from day one. We're not joining a category, we're defining it. We're looking for a Product Engineer to own a pod's output end-to-end: strategy, specs, QA, and enough technical depth to unblock engineers or write the code yourself when that's the fastest path forward. If you want real ownership, move fast, and raise the bar every week, keep reading. If you've been waiting for a PM role that doesn't ask you to leave your technical background at the door, this is it. What you'll own • Own the roadmap for your pod: define what gets built, kill low-leverage work, and protect your engineers' time and focus • Write specs that start with the problem, not the solution, and ship every brief with a clear success criterion • Participate technically: read the codebase, debug independently, and ship small things when it's faster than context-switching an engineer • Own QA end-to-end: test plans, regression passes, release sign-off, and post-deploy monitoring in Sentry and Grafana • Keep the pod moving: fast decisions, async-first communication, and zero ambiguity about what's next • Close the feedback loop between customers, data, and product direction, and hold yourself accountable to the KPIs you define You'll thrive here if... • You've shipped production code before and you're honest with yourself about your technical depth • You treat a spec as a hypothesis to pressure-test, not a document to execute against • You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap and you move. • Deadlines don't rattle you. Ambiguity doesn't either. • You're an AI power user, not someone who's "open to learning it someday." • You communicate clearly, especially when things are unclear. • You have opinions and you're not afraid to bring them. • You can laugh at a chaotic week on Friday and mean it. What we're looking for • 3+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, startup or high-growth environment • A hands-on technical background: production code, a bootcamp, or demonstrable ability to navigate a full-stack codebase • Comfortable reading Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; able to write SQL, reason about REST contracts, and follow frontend state • Proven QA ownership: test cases, regression cycles, structured bug reports, release sign-off • Daily fluency with Claude Code or equivalent. Not "open to it." Actually using it. • Strong written communication. Your specs are clear and complete on the first read. • Available in EST What working here actually looks like High expectations. Real ownership. Things change fast and we don't apologize for it. You'll work with smart people who push you, a product that keeps getting better, and a team that's genuinely building something new. The boundary between product and engineering is intentionally blurred here. The best product decisions are inseparable from technical reality, and we hire people who understand that. We'll probably give you more to own than you expected. That's on purpose. We use AI every day, across every function. That's just how we work. What we stand for • We are obsessed with our customers, and making them obsessed with us • We figure it the f**k out • We go to war on our problems quickly • We are strategic. We work smart, not just hard. • We're fun AF About Search Atlas Search Atlas helps marketing teams move faster, make smarter decisions, and do more with less.
